Is there a free way to take part?
Whether a promotion offers a free method of entry, and how it works, is stated in the Official Rules of that promotion.
Who may take part?
Eligibility is defined in the Official Rules of each promotion, and nowhere else on this site.
How is a winner selected?
Winner selection is described in the Official Rules of each promotion. When the drawing is carried out by an independent administrator, the promotion page says so.
What happens after a promotion closes?
The promotion page keeps reporting where the process stands: with the administrator, in winner verification, or complete.
